Daniel has been a Partner and Lead Advisor at Columbia Pacific Wealth Management since 2017, when he opened the firm’s California division. He has 20 years of experience advising high net worth families, family offices and endowments. Prior to joining Columbia Pacific as a Lead Advisor, Daniel was a Managing Director at JP Morgan and a Senior Vice President at UBS. A former corporate finance attorney, he spends considerable focus on helping clients coordinate tax, trust and estate planning strategies with their investment activities.
Daniel earned a juris doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He serves on the Investment Committee of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. In his free time, Daniel spends time in Southern California watching his daughter compete in tennis tournaments. He also enjoys golf and travel and is ramping up his fly-fishing skills.
