Northwest Harvest is the leading hunger relief agency in Washington state. Their primary belief is that nutritious food is a human right and that no one should be forced to make choices between eating and other essential needs.
Through partnerships in communities across Washington and advocating to create a more equitable food system, Northwest Harvest provides an average of two million meals each month. They have a statewide network of 375 food banks, meal programs, and high-need schools where they offer nutritious, culturally appropriate food to anyone in need, while respecting people’s dignity and promoting good health.
On two different mornings this spring, CPWM employees in Seattle volunteered with Northwest Harvest at their SODO Community Market. The team organized items for distribution, set up for the day, and provided counter service to guests of the market. The SODO Community Market believes people should be able to choose their food with dignity and purpose. Northwest Harvest’s SODO Community Market allows guests to do just that. It is a no-cost grocery store that provides fresh produce, grocery staples, and a variety of healthy food options to those in need. Guests shop at the Community Market just as they would at any other grocery store.
Columbia Pacific Wealth Management is passionate about supporting local organizations and serving the community that means so much to the firm.
